16 Instagram Worthy Spots in Seattle, WA

Seattle is a wonderful and vibrant city to visit for a weekend or a weeklong trip. Here are some famous tourist spots/instagrammable places you can’t miss during your visit:

1. Pike Place Market

Hours: 9am – 5pm daily

Photo tip: To get a photo without delivery cars and crowds of people in the background it’s easiest to visit after the Market closes for the day. I got this lucky shot by accident because we wanted to explore the market after checking into our hotel on our first day and found out it had closed.

2. Miner’s Landing/Seattle Wheel

Miner’s Landing is a great place to stroll and explore shops and restaurants along the waterfront. At the end of the pier is a huge ferris wheel that makes for cool Instagram pictures every angle

3.Greetings From Seattle Mural

This spot is unfortunately in a gated area and technically part of an event venue now so when I visited it was impossible to access. I’ve read that others who have gotten lucky asking to go in to snap a picture when there were people to let them in but when I went it was past opening hours. So all I got was this shot below – might return and try my luck on a future trip!

4. The Gum Wall

This is one of those places that’s so weird and different it’s popular on Instagram – so yes I had to snap a picture here too, like everyone else – I am sheep. It looks cool but the thought of hundreds of people’s dried saliva on their gum makes me feel icky I was holding my breath just standing close for this shot.

5. Chihuly Garden

Now this is the most iconic image that screams “I VISITED SEATTLE”. The beautiful Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum is located by the Space Needle.
