The Prettiest NEW Brunch Spots in San Diego

San Diego reigns above the rest of California when it comes to aesthetic and delicious brunch spots. Here are three new (as of the past 2-3 years) unique and pretty restaurants for you and your girlies to enjoy a tasty brunch worth sharing on social media:

1. Wolfie’s Carousel Restaurant & Bar 📍 Little Italy (opened in 2021)

Wolfie’s Carousel Bar located in Little Italy, San Diego, beautifully merges whimsical Parisian elegance and NOLA romance in an immersive setting. The coolest part is the revolving centerpiece that is a carousel shaped cocktail bar inspired by the merry-go-round in a New Orleans French Quarter Carousel Bar.

It makes a complete rotation every 14 minutes, which provides your dining experience with changing sceneries for you to admire all the antiqued details of the restaurant interior.

What I tried: Jardin Salad, Onion Soup, Beignets

They also have really tasty and aesthetic cocktails:

Check out their brunch and dinner menu here.

  • Closed Monday
  • Tues / Wed / Thurs – 4pm – 11pm
  • Friday – 11am – 12am
  • Saturday – 10am – 12am
  • Sunday – 10am – 11pm

Address: 2401 Kettner Blvd. Suite B. San Diego, Ca 92101

Pro Tip: Get there early right when they open if you want to get photos of the interior without many people. Obviously daytime makes for better/brighter pictures but nighttime is also a magical vibe!

2. Morning Glory 📍 Little Italy (opened in 2019)

The pancake lord of San Diego, Morning Glory has the most unique breakfast menu – as is their entire interior design – from the opulence of wavy glass, frilly patio umbrellas, and rose gold velvet booths to the very strange parts such as cockroach wallpaper and a huge freaky eyeball that is always watching you.

The interior design is so opulent, completely giving Great Gatsby vibes.

This is what my friend and I shared: You must try their fluffy souffles!

Check out their very unique menu here.

  • Weekdays 8am – 3pm
  • Weekend 8am – 4pm

Address: 550 W Date St Suite #C, San Diego, CA 92101

Pro Tip: This is such a popular brunch spot that there will already be a line if you get there at 8am. Aim to arrive at 7:30am – 7:45am if you want to be seated within 30 minutes of them opening at 8am. Be sure to allocate enough time in the morning to find parking before walking over.

3. Breakfast & Bubbles 📍 North Park (opened in 2021)

A pretty pink and flowery bistro serving all day cocktails, champagne, and colorful brunch dishes, Breakfast and Bubbles is the perfect place for a girls’ brunch or even a bachelorette party.

What I tried:

Check out their all day champagne menu here.

  • Monday-Friday 8:30AM-3PM (Reservations Available)
  • Saturday-Sunday 8:30AM-4PM (Walk-Ins Only)

Address: 3831 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92103
